Sometimes as a designer you have to take a step back. Compose your thoughts. And know that sometimes, your not “allowed” to let things go. If the 2012 Olympics Logo was the result of a Creative dept that got together, brainstormed and came up with this for submission….Then your not doing it right.

How this Identity was Approved is beyond me. And almost an insult to design itself.

White-tailed Deer INFOGRAPHIC - Sort of…
As a designer sometimes we see things differently as artists often do. My take on researching the White Tailed Deer in the Northern United States region was something I had to share. Upon viewing this picture, I began to see things almost mechanical. I tried to focus on the Bio rather than the Hunters Point of view. But a certain style emerged. Playing on the "Point of focus" you can see the distance between 2 Deer is a range of about 50ft. Almost as if the lines and directions were shot in 3D.
This is a style I like to call “Point of Focus” and will be using this method more and more trying to perfect its movement.
Tom Davie - Typographic Posters
This Creative form of Design & Photography has generated a special buzz that goes hand in hand. Relatively new to fashion I find this to be particularly Creative considering the delicate blend of both worlds.
Art Direction & design for the Spring / Summer advertising campaign for Aizone, a luxury department store in the Middle East. Models were body painted in typographic sentences “Forget Regret” “The Time is Now” and “Talk Less Say More”. Printed in newspapers, magazines, and billboards throughout Lebanon.
